TL;DR
This paper develops a quasi-two-dimensional model for a self-gravitating gas, analyzing small adiabatic perturbations and demonstrating the periodic nature of solutions under weak transverse nonhomogeneity.
Contribution
It introduces a novel quasi-two-dimensional framework for self-gravitating gases with proof of space periodic solutions under specific approximations.
Findings
Proof of space periodicity of solutions
Modeling of small adiabatic perturbations
Framework for weak transverse nonhomogeneity
Abstract
The quasi-two-dimensional modeling of the small adiabatic perturbation on the background of the stationary configuration of the selfgravitating gas with the weak transverse nonhomogeneity approximation is presented. The space periodic character of the solution of this system is proofed.
