TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that measuring 10 polarization observables in collinear geometry allows for a complete, model-independent determination of the $dp$ backward elastic scattering matrix elements.
Contribution
It shows that a set of 10 polarization measurements suffices for a full, model-independent analysis of the $dp$ backward elastic scattering amplitudes.
Findings
10 polarization observables enable complete amplitude determination
Model-independent analysis is feasible with the proposed measurements
Provides a framework for experimental polarization measurements in $dp$ scattering
Abstract
The model independent analysis of the elastic scattering in the collinear geometry has been performed. It is shown that the measurements of 10 polarization observables of the first and second order realize the complete experimental program on the determination of the amplitudes of the backward elastic scattering reaction.
