TL;DR
This paper explores exact inhomogeneous cosmological solutions with scalar fields, analyzing their inflationary behavior and long-term evolution, thereby extending previous models in Einstein's theory of gravity.
Contribution
It introduces new exact solutions for inhomogeneous G_2 cosmologies with exponential scalar fields, generalizing earlier models and examining their inflationary and asymptotic properties.
Findings
Identification of new exact solutions
Analysis of inflationary behavior
Discussion of asymptotic properties
Abstract
Some exact solutions for the Einstein field equations corresponding to inhomogeneous cosmologies with an exponential-potential scalar field which generalize solutions obtained previously are considered. Several particular cases are studied and the properties related to generalized inflation and asymptotic behaviour of the models are discussed.
