A New Formula for the Mass of a Stationary Axisymmetric Configuration
R. M. Avakian, G. Oganessyan

TL;DR
This paper generalizes a relation between mass and internal pressure from static spherical bodies to stationary axisymmetric configurations, enhancing understanding of gravitational mass in more complex systems.
Contribution
It introduces a new formula linking mass and pressure for stationary axisymmetric gravitating bodies, extending previous spherical models.
Findings
Derived a generalized mass-pressure relation for axisymmetric systems
Provides a theoretical framework for analyzing rotating gravitating bodies
Enhances understanding of mass distribution in complex astrophysical objects
Abstract
It has been shown by one of the authors that in isotropic spherical coordinates there is a relation between the mass of a static spherical gravitating body and the pressure distribution inside it. In this paper the result is generalized for the case of stationary axisymmetric configurations.
