Leading Quantum Correction to the Newtonian Potential
John F. Donoghue

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that leading quantum corrections to gravity can be computed using low-energy quantum gravity, exemplified by calculating the quantum correction to the Newtonian potential.
Contribution
It provides a method to calculate leading quantum gravitational corrections from low-energy theory, simplifying previous approaches.
Findings
Quantum corrections to Newtonian potential calculated.
Method relies on low-energy quantum gravity structure.
Results applicable to other gravitational phenomena.
Abstract
I argue that the leading quantum corrections, in powers of the energy or inverse powers of the distance, may be computed in quantum gravity through knowledge of only the low energy structure of the theory. As an example, I calculate the leading quantum corrections to the Newtonian gravitational potential.
