S. Capozziello, A. Stabile, A. Troisi

TL;DR
This paper develops a formalism using Noether symmetry to find spherically symmetric solutions in f(R) gravity theories, providing exact solutions within the metric framework.
Contribution
It introduces a general formalism for deriving spherically symmetric solutions in f(R) gravity using Noether symmetry, including explicit examples.
Findings
Derived a general formalism for spherically symmetric solutions in f(R) gravity.
Provided explicit exact solutions within the developed framework.
Abstract
We search for spherically symmetric solutions of f(R) theories of gravity via the Noether Symmetry Approach. A general formalism in the metric framework is developed considering a point-like f(R)-Lagrangian where spherical symmetry is required. Examples of exact solutions are given.
