Black holes on cosmological branes
L\'aszl\'o \'A. Gergely

TL;DR
This paper reviews the challenges and progress in constructing black hole solutions on cosmological branes within brane-world models, including gravitational collapse scenarios.
Contribution
It provides an overview of explicit constructions of black holes on cosmological branes and discusses gravitational collapse in brane-world contexts.
Findings
Progress in constructing black hole solutions on branes
Insights into gravitational collapse in brane-world models
Identification of challenges in embedding black holes in cosmological backgrounds
Abstract
While in general relativity black holes can be freely embedded into a cosmological background, the same problem in brane-worlds is much more cumbersome. We present here the results obtained so far in the explicit constructions of such space-times. We also discuss gravitational collapse in this context.
