Comment on "The gravitomagnetic influence on gyroscopes and on the lunar orbit"
Sergei M. Kopeikin (University of Missouri-Columbia, USA)

TL;DR
This paper argues that current lunar laser ranging technology cannot detect gravitomagnetic effects due to gauge residual freedom in relativistic lunar motion models.
Contribution
It highlights the limitations of lunar laser ranging in observing gravitomagnetic phenomena caused by gauge residual freedom.
Findings
LLR cannot currently detect gravitomagnetic effects
Gauge residual freedom affects lunar motion modeling
Current technology lacks sensitivity for gravitomagnetic detection
Abstract
Analysis of the gauge residual freedom in the relativistic theory of lunar motion demonstrates that lunar laser ranging (LLR) is not currently capable to detect gravitomagnetic effects.
