Adam Clausen, James Isenberg

TL;DR
This paper proves a global areal foliation for T^2 symmetric spacetimes with positive cosmological constant and identifies solutions showing AVTD behavior near singularities.
Contribution
It introduces a global areal foliation result and constructs solutions with AVTD behavior in the context of T^2 symmetric spacetimes with positive cosmological constant.
Findings
Established a global areal foliation for the spacetime class.
Identified solutions exhibiting AVTD behavior near singularities.
Abstract
We prove a global foliation result, using areal time, for T^2 symmetric spacetimes with a positive cosmological constant. We then find a class of solutions that exhibit AVTD behavior near the singularity.
