TL;DR
This paper explores how a negative log-area correction to black hole entropy might indicate the existence of a black hole remnant, discussing the implications for the minimal black hole mass.
Contribution
It introduces a potential link between entropy corrections and black hole remnants, providing insights into the minimal mass of black holes.
Findings
Negative log-area correction may be related to black hole remnants
Minimal black hole mass is discussed in context of entropy correction
Tunneling probability analysis supports the remnant hypothesis
Abstract
Analyzing the tunneling probability of a Schwarzschild black hole with a negative log-area correction to Bekenstein-Hawking entropy, I argue that this correction may be closely related to a black hole remnant. The value for the minimal black hole mass is also discussed.
