TL;DR
This paper investigates a cosmic string model composed of two interacting scalar fields coupled with gravity, demonstrating that regular solutions are only possible at specific parameter values.
Contribution
It introduces a new two-scalar-field cosmic string model and identifies conditions for the existence of regular solutions.
Findings
Regular solutions exist only at specific parameter choices.
The model advances understanding of scalar field interactions in cosmic strings.
Abstract
The model of cosmic string formed from two gravitating and interacting scalar fields is considered. It is shown that the regular solutions exist at special choice of the model's parameters only.
