TL;DR
This paper introduces new transformation and solution-generating theorems for perfect fluid spheres and the TOV equation, enabling the creation of new solutions from existing ones in relativistic stellar models.
Contribution
It presents novel theorems that map perfect fluid spheres into new solutions and deform existing TOV solutions, advancing solution generation methods.
Findings
New transformation theorems for perfect fluid spheres
Solution generating theorems for the TOV equation
Enhanced methods for constructing relativistic stellar models
Abstract
We report several new transformation theorems that map perfect fluid spheres into perfect fluid spheres. In addition, we report new ``solution generating'' theorems for the TOV, whereby any given solution can be ``deformed'' to a new solution.
