TL;DR
This paper investigates spherically symmetric solutions in a dimensionally reduced Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity model, revealing the existence of solutions with nonflat asymptotic behavior, expanding understanding of black hole solutions in higher-dimensional theories.
Contribution
It presents a detailed analysis of the phase space of solutions, highlighting new nonflat asymptotic behaviors in reduced Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity.
Findings
Existence of solutions with nonflat asymptotics
Phase space characterization of spherically symmetric solutions
Insights into black hole solutions in higher-dimensional gravity
Abstract
We study the phase space of the spherically symmetric solutions of the system obtained from the dimensional reduction of the six-dimensional Einstein-Gauss- Bonnet action. We show the existence of solutions with nonflat asymptotic behavior.
