Coleman - de Luccia instanton of the second order in a brane world
Michal Demetrian

TL;DR
This paper investigates the second order Coleman - de Luccia instanton and its action within the Randall - Sundrum type II brane world model, comparing the results to those in Einstein's general relativity.
Contribution
It introduces the analysis of second order Coleman - de Luccia instantons specifically in the brane world context, extending previous work in Einstein's gravity.
Findings
Differences in instanton action between brane world and Einstein gravity.
Insights into tunneling processes in brane world scenarios.
Comparison highlights the impact of extra dimensions on instanton properties.
Abstract
The second order Coleman - de Luccia instanton and its action in the Randall - Sundrum type II model are investigated and the comparison with the results in Einstein's general relativity is done in the present paper.
