$\theta$-Term and Cosmological Constant from CJD Action
Prasanta Mahato

TL;DR
This paper explores how a topological theta-term in a gravity formalism leads to the simultaneous emergence of a cosmological constant, revealing a deep connection between topological terms and cosmological parameters.
Contribution
It demonstrates that in a gravity formalism without a metric, the appearance of a theta-term via a canonical transformation inherently introduces a cosmological constant.
Findings
Theta-term arises through a canonical transformation in a metricless gravity formalism.
The emergence of the theta-term is intrinsically linked to the appearance of a cosmological constant.
The study provides insight into the topological origins of cosmological parameters.
Abstract
In the gravity without metric formalism of Capovilla, Jacobson and Dell, the topological -term appears through a canonical transformation. The origin of this canonical transformation is probed here. It is shown here that when -term appears cosmological -term also appears simultaneously.
