Acceleration of a Spherical Brane-Universe
Merab Gogberashvili

TL;DR
This paper proposes a spherical brane-universe model that explains cosmic expansion and transition to acceleration without dark energy, aligning well with observational redshift data.
Contribution
It introduces a spherical brane-universe model that accounts for cosmic acceleration without dark energy, matching observational redshift transitions.
Findings
The model explains the universe's expansion rate without dark energy.
Redshift predictions from the model agree with observations.
The transition from deceleration to acceleration is naturally reproduced.
Abstract
The model where the universe is considered as an expanding spherical 3-brane allows us to explain its expansion rate without a dark energy component. In this scenario the computed redshift that corresponds to the transition from cosmic deceleration to acceleration is in a good agreement with observations.
