TL;DR
This paper argues that the cosmological constant problem arises from an unfounded link to vacuum energy, suggesting it is a geometrical artifact rather than a quantum fluctuation issue.
Contribution
It challenges the conventional association between vacuum energy density and the cosmological constant, proposing a geometrical perspective.
Findings
The cosmological constant problem is an artifact of incorrect assumptions.
Vacuum energy density is not directly linked to the cosmological constant.
Geometrical analysis offers a new perspective on the problem.
Abstract
According to general relativity, the present analysis shows on geometrical grounds that the cosmological constant problem is an artifact due to the unfounded link of this fundamental constant to vacuum energy density of quantum fluctuations.
