On initial conditions and global existence for accelerating cosmologies from string theory
Makoto Narita

TL;DR
This paper constructs initial conditions and proves global existence for accelerating cosmological models derived from string theory, focusing on Gowdy symmetric spacetimes with positive potentials.
Contribution
It provides the first known initial condition construction and global existence proof for string theory-based accelerating cosmologies with Gowdy symmetry.
Findings
Successfully constructed initial conditions for the models.
Proved global existence of the solutions.
Applicable to Gowdy symmetric spacetimes with positive potential.
Abstract
We construct a solution satisfying initial conditions for accelerating cosmologies from string/M-theory. Gowdy symmetric spacetimes with a positive potential are considered. Also, a global existence theorem for the spacetimes is shown.
