Scalar field perturbation on six-dimensional ultra-spinning black holes
Yoshiyuki Morisawa, Daisuke Ida

TL;DR
This paper investigates scalar field perturbations on six-dimensional ultra-spinning black holes, numerically computing quasinormal modes to assess their stability, and finds these black holes are stable under such perturbations.
Contribution
It provides the first numerical analysis of quasinormal modes for six-dimensional ultra-spinning black holes, demonstrating their stability.
Findings
Perturbations are stable.
Quasinormal modes were successfully computed.
Supports stability of ultra-spinning black holes.
Abstract
We have studied the scalar field perturbations on six-dimensional ultra-spinning black holes. We have numerically calculated the quasinormal modes of rotating black holes. Our results suggest that such perturbations are stable.
