Ujjal Debnath, Asit Banerjee, Subenoy Chakraborty

TL;DR
This paper explores a modified Chaplygin gas model to explain the universe's accelerated expansion, using statefinder parameters to characterize different cosmic phases.
Contribution
It introduces a modified Chaplygin gas model applicable from radiation era to $ mf extLambda$CDM, analyzed with statefinder diagnostics.
Findings
Model describes universe's acceleration effectively.
Statefinder parameters distinguish different cosmic phases.
Unified description from radiation era to dark energy dominance.
Abstract
In this paper we have considered a model of modified Chaplygin gas and its role in accelerating phase of the universe. We have assumed that the equation of state of this modified model is valid from the radiation era to CDM model. We have used recently developed statefinder parameters in characterizing different phase of the universe diagrammatically.
