How to make a traversable wormhole from a Schwarzschild black hole
Sean A. Hayward, Hiroko Koyama

TL;DR
This paper presents a theoretical method to construct a traversable wormhole from a Schwarzschild black hole using Einstein gravity and phantom radiation, highlighting a novel approach in wormhole physics.
Contribution
It introduces a new analytic solution for creating a traversable wormhole from a Schwarzschild black hole with pure phantom radiation.
Findings
Analytic solutions demonstrate the feasibility of wormhole construction.
Use of phantom radiation with negative energy density is essential.
Impulsive radiation simplifies the theoretical model.
Abstract
The theoretical construction of a traversable wormhole from a Schwarzschild black hole is described, using analytic solutions in Einstein gravity. The matter model is pure phantom radiation (pure radiation with negative energy density) and the idealization of impulsive radiation is employed.
