Phantom Field and the Fate of Universe
M. Sami, Alexey Toporensky

TL;DR
This paper investigates how different potentials of phantom fields influence the future evolution of the universe, highlighting the dependence on potential steepness and its implications for cosmic fate.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive analysis of phantom field dynamics across various unbounded potentials, revealing the critical role of potential steepness in cosmic evolution.
Findings
Future evolution depends on the steepness of the phantom potential.
Different potentials lead to distinct cosmic fates.
The nature of the universe's end is linked to potential characteristics.
Abstract
In this paper we analyze the cosmological dynamics of phantom field in a variety of potentials unbounded from above. We demonstrate that the nature of future evolution generically depends upon the steepness of the phantom potential and discuss the fate of Universe accordingly.
