Global existence problem in $T^3$-Gowdy symmetric IIB superstring cosmology
Makoto Narita

TL;DR
This paper proves global existence theorems for Gowdy symmetric spacetimes with type IIB superstring matter, using wave maps and specific time coordinates, advancing understanding of string cosmology models.
Contribution
It establishes global existence results for Gowdy symmetric IIB superstring cosmologies, introducing wave maps as a key analytical tool.
Findings
Global existence theorems for Gowdy symmetric spacetimes with IIB matter
Wave map formulation of the evolution system
Use of areal and constant mean curvature time coordinates
Abstract
We show global existence theorems for Gowdy symmetric spacetimes with type IIB stringy matter. The areal and constant mean curvature time coordinates are used. Before coming to that, it is shown that a wave map describes the evolution of this system.
