A homogeneous brane-world universe
L\'aszl\'o \'A Gergely

TL;DR
This paper introduces a homogeneous, bouncing brane-world universe model with a specific bulk structure and anisotropic pressures, expanding the understanding of cosmological solutions in brane-world scenarios.
Contribution
It presents a new homogeneous, Kantowski-Sachs type brane-world universe with a positive cosmological constant in the bulk and anisotropic effective Einstein equations.
Findings
The universe model exhibits a bounce behavior.
The bulk has a positive cosmological constant and specific symmetry algebra.
The effective Einstein equations include anisotropic pressure components.
Abstract
A homogeneous, Kantowski-Sachs type, bouncing brane-world universe is presented. The bulk has a positive cosmological constant and the Killing algebra . The totality of the source terms of the effective Einstein equation combine to a solid with different radial and tangential pressures.
