R^2-corrections to Chaotic Inflation
Victor H. Cardenas, Sergio del Campo, Ramon Herrera

TL;DR
This paper investigates how adding a higher derivative term affects scalar density perturbations, spectral indices, and reheating in a chaotic inflation model, emphasizing its significance near the Planck era.
Contribution
It introduces and analyzes the impact of higher derivative corrections on inflationary cosmology, focusing on early universe dynamics and perturbation spectra.
Findings
Higher derivative terms influence scalar perturbations.
Reheating dynamics are affected by these corrections.
Spectral indices show modifications due to the added term.
Abstract
Scalar density cosmological perturbations, spectral indices and reheating in a chaotic inflationary universe model, in which a higher derivative term is added, are investigated. This term is supposed to play an important role in the early evolution of the Universe, specifically at times closer to the Planck era.
