The geometrization of matter proposal in the Barrett-Crane model and resolution of cosmological problems
S. Alexander, L. Crane, M. D. Sheppeard

TL;DR
This paper explores how the Barrett-Crane spin foam model of quantum gravity, extended to include conical singularities, could address key unresolved issues in early universe cosmology.
Contribution
It introduces a generalized spin foam cosmology framework based on the Barrett-Crane model to potentially resolve cosmological problems.
Findings
Potential resolution of early universe issues using spin foam cosmology
Extension of the Barrett-Crane model to include conical singularities
Framework for future quantum gravity cosmology research
Abstract
We give an overview of the current issues in early universe cosmology and consider the potential resolution of these issues in an as yet nascent spin foam cosmology. The model is the Barrett-Crane Model for quantum gravity along with a generalization of manifold complexes to complexes including conical singularities.
