TL;DR
This paper explores Brans-Dicke cosmology within an anisotropic Kantowski-Sachs model, analyzing the effects of a varying speed of light on the universe's flatness problem, considering both constant and variable scalar fields.
Contribution
It introduces a study of Brans-Dicke cosmology with a varying speed of light in an anisotropic setting, addressing the flatness problem in different scalar field scenarios.
Findings
Analyzed flatness problem with constant scalar field.
Studied flatness problem with varying scalar field during radiation era.
Examined asymptotic behavior of the model.
Abstract
In this paper, we have studied Brans-Dicke Cosmology in anisotropic Kantowski-Sachs space-time model; considering variation of the velocity of light. We have addressed the flatness problem considering both the cases namely, (i) when the Brans-Dicke scale field is constant (ii) when varies, specially for radiation dominated era perturbatively and non-perturbatively and asymptotic behaviour have been studied.
