Scalar Field Solutions in Colliding Einstein-Maxwell Waves
M.Halilsoy, I.Sakalli

TL;DR
This paper introduces a straightforward method to generate scalar field solutions from existing Einstein-Maxwell solutions in colliding plane waves, and demonstrates its application by extending a known solution.
Contribution
The paper presents a novel method for deriving scalar field solutions from Einstein-Maxwell solutions in colliding waves, expanding the set of available solutions.
Findings
Method successfully generates scalar field solutions
Extended solution builds on Hogan, Barrabes, and Bressange's work
Demonstrates applicability to known Einstein-Maxwell solutions
Abstract
A simple method is presented which enables us to construct scalar field solutions from any given Einstein-Maxwell solution in colliding plane waves. As an application we give scalar field extensions of the solution found by Hogan, Barrabes and Bressange.
