Naked singularity formation for higher dimensional inhomogeneous dust collapse
Ujjal Debnath, Subenoy Chakraborty

TL;DR
This paper explores the formation of naked singularities in higher-dimensional inhomogeneous dust collapse, revealing that such singularities can occur and are gravitationally strong, expanding understanding of gravitational collapse in higher dimensions.
Contribution
It demonstrates the existence and strength of naked singularities in higher-dimensional dust collapse, a novel extension of classical collapse models.
Findings
Naked singularities can form in higher-dimensional dust collapse.
Such singularities are gravitationally strong.
The study extends classical collapse models to higher dimensions.
Abstract
We investigate the occurrence and nature of a naked singularity in the gravitational collapse of an inhomogeneous dust cloud described by higher dimensional Tolman-Bondi space-time. The naked singularities are found to be gravitationally strong.
