A note on Schwarzschild black hole thermodynamics in a magnetic universe
Eugen Radu (Faculty of Physics, Albert-Ludwigs-University, Freiburg,, Germany)

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the thermodynamic properties of a Schwarzschild black hole remain unchanged when subjected to an external magnetic field, using background subtraction and counterterm methods.
Contribution
It shows that external magnetic fields do not alter Schwarzschild black hole thermodynamics, providing a new perspective on black hole stability in magnetic universes.
Findings
Black hole thermodynamics are unaffected by magnetic fields.
Validation through background subtraction and counterterm methods.
Supports stability of Schwarzschild black holes in magnetic environments.
Abstract
We prove that the thermodynamic properties of a Schwarzschild black hole are unaffected by an external magnetic field passing through it. Apart from the background substraction prescription, this result is obtained also by using a counterterm method.
