Rotating Dilaton Solutions in 2+1 Dimensions
Sharmanthie Fernando

TL;DR
This paper presents a new three-parameter family of rotating dilaton solutions in 2+1 dimensions, derived from 3+1 dimensional vacuum solutions, featuring finite mass and angular momentum with different types of singularities.
Contribution
It introduces novel rotating dilaton solutions in 2+1 dimensions obtained via compactification, expanding the known solution space in lower-dimensional gravity.
Findings
Solutions have finite mass and angular momentum.
Two classes of solutions: conical and curvature singularities.
Derived from compactified 3+1 dimensional vacuum solutions.
Abstract
We report a three parameter family of solutions for dilaton gravity in 2+1 dimensions with finite mass and finite angular momentum. These solutions are obtained by a compactification of vacuum solutions in 3+1 dimensions with cylindrical symmetry. One class of solutions corresponds to conical singularities and the other leads to curvature singularities.
