Parity and Time Reversal in the Spin-Rotation Interaction
G. Papini

TL;DR
This paper investigates potential violations of parity and time-reversal symmetries in the spin-rotation interaction, analyzing experimental limits and implications for muon g-2 discrepancies.
Contribution
It proposes that small P and T violations in spin-rotation coupling could explain the muon g-2 anomaly and derives experimental bounds on these violations.
Findings
Sets upper limits on P and T violation in spin-rotation interactions
Suggests violations could account for muon g-2 discrepancy
Provides constraints on gyroscope weight change due to spin
Abstract
A recently reported discrepancy between experimental and theoretical values of the muon's g-2 factor is interpreted as due to small violations of the conservation of P and T in the spin-rotation coupling. The experiments place an upper limit on these violations and on the weight change of spinning gyroscopes.
