M. Blagojevic, J. Garecki, F.W. Hehl, Yu.N. Obukhov

TL;DR
This paper introduces a symmetric null coframe with four real null covectors in general relativity, establishing its connection to GPS-like coordinates, thereby advancing coordinate systems in gravitational physics.
Contribution
It defines a new symmetric null coframe with real null covectors and links it to GPS-type coordinates, expanding the tools for coordinate systems in general relativity.
Findings
Introduces a symmetric null coframe with four real null covectors.
Establishes a relationship between the coframe and GPS-type coordinates.
Provides a new perspective on coordinate systems in gravitational physics.
Abstract
Based on work of Derrick, Coll, and Morales, we define a `symmetric' null coframe with {\it four real null covectors}. We show that this coframe is closely related to the GPS type coordinates recently introduced by Rovelli.
