Deflection of light by the screw dislocation in space-time
Miroslav Pardy

TL;DR
This paper derives the theoretical deflection of light caused by screw dislocations in space-time, modeling gravity as a deformation of space-time akin to a medium's deformation.
Contribution
It introduces a novel theoretical framework linking screw dislocations in space-time to light deflection, expanding the understanding of gravitational effects.
Findings
Light deflection can be modeled by screw dislocation in space-time
Deformation of space-time is equivalent to gravitational effects
Provides a new perspective on gravity as a medium deformation
Abstract
We derive the light deflection caused by the screw dislocation in space-time. The derivation is based on the idea that space-time is a medium which can be deformed by gravity and that the deformation of space-time is equivalent to the existence of gravity.
