R.B. Mann, T. Ohta

TL;DR
This paper presents an exact solution to the charged two-body problem in (1+1) dimensional lineal gravity, extending the Majumdar-Papapetrou static balance condition to a relativistic setting.
Contribution
It introduces the first exact relativistic solution for charged two-body systems in lineal gravity that generalizes the static balance condition.
Findings
Exact solution to charged 2-body problem in (1+1)D gravity
Generalization of Majumdar-Papapetrou condition
First relativistic static balance example in lineal gravity
Abstract
We find an exact solution to the charged 2-body problem in dimensional lineal gravity which provides the first example of a relativistic system that generalizes the Majumdar-Papapetrou condition for static balance.
