Fermion zero modes in Painlev\'e-Gullstrand black hole
G.E. Volovik

TL;DR
This paper explores fermion zero modes within the Painleve-Gullstrand black hole metric, linking microstates to black hole thermodynamics and horizon area quantization.
Contribution
It introduces the analysis of fermion zero modes in the Painleve-Gullstrand metric, revealing their role in black hole thermodynamics and quantization.
Findings
Fermion zero modes exist inside the black hole.
Microstates contribute to black hole thermodynamics.
Horizon area becomes quantized due to zero modes.
Abstract
Painleve-Gullstrand metric of the black hole allows to discuss the fermion zero modes inside the hole. The statistical mechanics of the fermionic microstates can be responsible for the black hole thermodynamics. Fermion zero modes also lead to quantization of the horizon area.
