A Ponzano-Regge model of Lorentzian 3-Dimensional gravity
Laurent Freidel

TL;DR
This paper develops a Lorentzian version of the Ponzano-Regge model, constructing a state sum partition function for 3D gravity that extends previous Euclidean models to Lorentzian signature.
Contribution
It introduces a Lorentzian Ponzano-Regge model, generalizing the Euclidean framework to incorporate Lorentzian signature in 3D quantum gravity.
Findings
Constructed a Lorentzian state sum model for 3D gravity.
Extended the Ponzano-Regge model to Lorentzian signature.
Provided a new partition function for Lorentzian 3D gravity.
Abstract
We present the construction of the partition function of 3-dimensional gravity in the Lorentzian regime as a state sum model over a triangulation. This generalize the work of Ponzano and Regge to the case of Lorentzian signature.
