Singular Behaviour of electric and magnetic fields in dielectric media in a non-linear gravitational wave background
Alexander B. Balakin, Jose' P. S. Lemos

TL;DR
This paper investigates how strong gravitational waves influence electric and magnetic fields in dielectric media, revealing new effects and singular behaviors through four exactly solvable models.
Contribution
It introduces four exactly integrable models demonstrating the impact of gravitational waves on electromagnetic fields in dielectric media, highlighting novel effects and singularities.
Findings
Gravitational waves induce new electromagnetic effects.
Electromagnetic fields exhibit singular behavior under gravitational influence.
Four exactly solvable models illustrate these phenomena.
Abstract
Evolution of electric and magnetic fields in dielectric media, driven by the influence of a strong gravitational wave, is considered for four exactly integrable models. It is shown that the gravitational wave field gives rise to new effects and to singular behaviour in the electromagnetic field.
