Curvature invariants in algebraically special spacetimes
V. Pravda, J. Bicak

TL;DR
This paper reviews the properties of higher order curvature invariants in algebraically special vacuum spacetimes, focusing on type-III and type-N classifications where lower order invariants vanish.
Contribution
It provides a summary of the behavior of higher order curvature invariants in specific algebraically special vacuum spacetimes, extending known results about zero-order invariants.
Findings
Higher order invariants can be non-zero in type-III and type-N spacetimes.
Zero-order invariants vanish for these spacetimes.
The paper summarizes properties of these higher order invariants.
Abstract
It is well known that all curvature invariants of the order zero vanish for type-III and type-N vacuum spacetimes. We briefly summarize properties of higher order curvature invariants for these spacetimes.
