Rotating Hairy Black Holes
B. Kleihaus (University College, Dublin), J. Kunz (University, Oldenburg)

TL;DR
This paper constructs new rotating hairy black holes in SU(2) Einstein-Yang-Mills theory, featuring angular momentum, electric charge, and non-abelian magnetic fields outside the horizon, expanding the landscape of known black hole solutions.
Contribution
It introduces non-perturbative rotating hairy black hole solutions with non-abelian fields in Einstein-Yang-Mills theory, a novel class of solutions beyond traditional black holes.
Findings
Existence of stationary rotating black holes with non-abelian hair.
Presence of non-trivial magnetic fields outside the event horizon.
Black holes carry both angular momentum and electric charge.
Abstract
We construct stationary black holes in SU(2) Einstein-Yang-Mills theory, which carry angular momentum and electric charge. Possessing non-trivial non-abelian magnetic fields outside their regular event horizon, they represent non-perturbative rotating hairy black holes.
