Isotropization of Bianchi type models and a new FRW solution in Brans-Dicke theory
Jorge L. Cervantes-Cota, Marcos Nahmad

TL;DR
This paper investigates the isotropization process of Bianchi type models within Brans-Dicke theory and introduces a new FRW solution, enhancing understanding of anisotropic cosmologies and their evolution towards isotropy.
Contribution
The study provides a unified integration of equations for Bianchi models in Brans-Dicke theory and presents a novel FRW solution with curvature in this framework.
Findings
Anisotropic models can asymptotically isotropize under certain conditions.
A new curved FRW solution in Brans-Dicke theory is derived.
Insights into inflationary properties of these models are discussed.
Abstract
Using scaled variables we are able to integrate an equation valid for isotropic and anisotropic Bianchi type I, V, IX models in Brans-Dicke (BD) theory. We analyze known and new solutions for these models in relation with the possibility that anisotropic models asymptotically isotropize, and/or possess inflationary properties. In particular, a new solution of curve () Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) cosmologies in Brans-Dicke theory is analyzed.
