Exact radiative spacetimes: some recent developments
Jiri Bicak

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent advances in exact radiative solutions of Einstein's field equations, covering various classes such as plane waves, cylindrical waves, and cosmological models, highlighting their properties and recent developments.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of recent progress in understanding different classes of radiative spacetimes in general relativity.
Findings
Enhanced understanding of plane wave collisions
New insights into Robinson-Trautman spacetimes
Development of generalized Gowdy cosmological models
Abstract
Five classes of radiative solutions of Einstein's field equations are discussed in the light of some new developments. These are plane waves and their collisions, cylindrical waves, Robinson-Trautman and type N spacetimes, boost-rotation symmetric spacetimes and generalized Gowdy-type cosmological models
