TL;DR
This paper derives exact solutions for string cosmology models with homogeneous magnetic fields, focusing on anisotropic backgrounds like Bianchi types and Kantowski-Sachs, assuming a space-independent dilaton and no torsion.
Contribution
It provides new exact solutions in string cosmology with magnetic fields in anisotropic backgrounds, expanding understanding of such models without torsion.
Findings
Exact solutions for Bianchi-type III and VI$_{-1}$ backgrounds
Solutions include Kantowski-Sachs metrics
Magnetic fields influence anisotropic cosmological evolution
Abstract
We present new solutions of the string cosmological effective action in the presence of a homogeneous Maxwell field with pure magnetic component. Exact solutions are derived in the case of space-independent dilaton and vanishing torsion background. In our examples the four dimensional metric is either of Bianchi-type III and VI or Kantowski-Sachs.
