Enterprise Portal Development Tools: Problem-Oriented Approach
Sergey V. Zykov

TL;DR
This paper presents a problem-oriented approach for enterprise portal development using semantic network theory and introduces the ConceptModeller CASE tool to improve the engineering process.
Contribution
It introduces a novel problem-oriented methodology and the ConceptModeller CASE tool for enterprise portal development based on semantic networks.
Findings
Enhanced development efficiency with the new approach
Improved modeling accuracy using semantic networks
Successful implementation of the ConceptModeller tool
Abstract
The paper deals with problem-oriented visual information system (IS) engineering for enterprise Internet-based applications, which is a vital part of the whole development process. The suggested approach is based on semantic network theory and a novel ConceptModeller CASE tool.
