David Eppstein, Michael T. Goodrich, and Jeremy Yu Meng

TL;DR
This paper introduces Delta-confluent graphs, a broader class of graphs related to tree-confluent graphs, and explores their properties and visualization techniques, revealing their equivalence to distance-hereditary graphs.
Contribution
The paper generalizes tree-confluent graphs to Delta-confluent graphs and establishes their equivalence with distance-hereditary graphs, providing new insights into their visualization.

Abstract
We generalize the tree-confluent graphs to a broader class of graphs called Delta-confluent graphs. This class of graphs and distance-hereditary graphs, a well-known class of graphs, coincide. Some results about the visualization of Delta-confluent graphs are also given.
