Fine-Grain Authorization for Resource Management in the Grid Environment
K. Keahey, V. Welch

TL;DR
This paper discusses a work-in-progress approach to enable fine-grain authorization for resource management in grid environments, allowing Virtual Organizations to enforce their own policies alongside resource owners.
Contribution
It introduces a novel framework for fine-grain authorization that supports policy enforcement by Virtual Organizations in grid resource management.
Findings
Proposed a new authorization model for VOs.
Demonstrated the feasibility of VO policy enforcement.
Outlined future steps for implementation and testing.
Abstract
In this document we describe our work-in-progress for enabling fine-grain authorization of resource management. In particular, we address the needs of Virtual Organizations (VOs) to enforce their own policies in addition to those of the resource owners.
