TL;DR
This paper investigates the phase competition in the t-J model, revealing a stable mixed phase with both flux and RVB order parameters across various temperatures and dopings.
Contribution
It introduces a finite temperature phase diagram showing the coexistence of flux and RVB states in the t-J model, highlighting a novel stable mixed phase.
Findings
Stable mixed phase with flux and RVB parameters at various temperatures and dopings
Finite temperature phase diagram for the t-J model
Identification of conditions favoring non-magnetic states
Abstract
We study the competition between non-magnetic (dimer or flux) states and short-range antiferromagnetically ordered RVB states in the t-J model and present a finite temperature phase diagram. We show that, for a wide range of temperatures and dopings, the stable phase results to be a state in which both the flux and the RVB parameters are nonzero.
