Subhradip Ghosh, Abhijit Mookerjee (S.N.Bose National Centre For, Basic Sciences,Calcutta,India)

TL;DR
This study uses first principles calculations to analyze the electronic structure and magnetic properties of disordered CoCu alloys across different compositions, revealing how their magnetic behavior varies.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive first-principles analysis of the electronic and magnetic properties of disordered CoCu alloys, which was not previously detailed.
Findings
Density of states varies with composition
Magnetic moments depend on alloy concentration
Curie temperature shows specific trends across the alloy spectrum
Abstract
Crystalline CoCu alloys show interesting magnetic behavior over the entire concentration regime. We here present a fully self- consistent first principles electronic structure studies of the electronic structure and magnetic properties of the system. We present results for the variation of density of states, magnetic moment, spin susceptibility and Curie temperature.
