Phase diagram for morphological transitions of wetting films on chemically structured substrates
C. Bauer, S. Dietrich

TL;DR
This paper uses an interface displacement model to map the phase diagram of morphological transitions in wetting films on chemically striped substrates, considering temperature, undersaturation, and stripe width.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive phase diagram for morphological transitions of wetting films on chemically structured substrates, a novel analysis in this context.
Findings
Complete phase diagram of morphological transitions
Dependence on temperature, undersaturation, and stripe width
Identification of different film shapes and transitions
Abstract
Using an interface displacement model we calculate the shapes of thin liquidlike films adsorbed on flat substrates containing a chemical stripe. We determine the entire phase diagram of morphological phase transitions in these films as function of temperature, undersaturation, and stripe width
