Peierls substitution in the energy dispersion of a hexagonal lattice
Gi-Yeong Oh (Hankyong National Univ.)

TL;DR
This paper re-examines the Peierls substitution method for hexagonal lattices, correcting previous formalism errors to accurately describe magnetic field effects on energy dispersion.
Contribution
It identifies and rectifies errors in recent formalism, improving the accuracy of modeling magnetic effects in hexagonal lattice energy structures.
Findings
Corrected formalism for Peierls substitution in hexagonal lattices
Enhanced understanding of magnetic field effects on energy dispersion
Clarified previous methodological inaccuracies
Abstract
The method of the Peierls substitution in studying the magnetic subband structure of a hexagonal lattice is re-examined. Several errors in the formalism of a couple of recent papers are pointed out and rectified so as to describe the effect of the magnetic field pertinently.
